A good day was had by all, especially after polishing off a carton of beer. The Irish stumbled to the airport and Matt staggered into work.

A flying visit from Nathan who was in Sydney for a few days from India. Weather finally warmed up so in true Aussie style we had a barbie on the balcony. It was also a farewell to the Irish.

Finished off the day with dinner and wine cooked by Emma and Maraithe's flatmates.

From here we caught a train down to the bottom of the valley and walked through the rain forest.

Weather wise we had picked the worst day to go. Constant rain and heavy mist made it hard to see much.

First stop was a wildlife park where we got up close and personal with native animals of Australia.

We booked a one day trip to the Blue Mountains with friends Emma and Maraithe whom we met at Uluru.
