Matt and Rich in Oz
After being driven out of Russia and London, Matt and Rich seek fame, fortune and refuge in the sunnier climes of Australia.

Checking in for the flight to Adelaide. Matt proceeded to loose his boarding ticket and had to charm the crew to let him on the flight.

Danika's beautiful house in the middle of the Adelaide Hills. We forced her to phone in sick the next day and to go wine tasting in the Barossa Valley instead.

Exploring Adelaide.

We hit Glenelg Beach on the first day after Rich caught up with friends and Matt explored the city of Adelaide.

Matt at yet another beautiful beach.

Rich and his house he rents out.

At the end of our first day we hit the night life with another guest appearance by Danika who we were staying with in the Adelaide Hills.

The first of many wine stops in the Barossa Valley. We didn't concern ourselves with the making of the wine, just the tasting.

The famous Jacob's Creek that produces that famous cheap and cheerful wine we all drink back in the UK.

Slightly tipsy in the vineyards.

After much wine tasting we had lunch in Jacob's Creek. Beautiful food, beautiful setting and another bottle of bubbly.

After much tasting we finally bought some wine before heading home. Matt promptly fell asleep in the car claiming the wine had suddenly rushed to his head. Light weight.

Two months in.. and we've been a bit boring the last few weeks and just going to work. But we've had another guest appearance.. Abbie - Rich's flatmate from 2002. She's another Brit doing the 12 month working holiday.

The living room which leads out to the all important balcony complete with BBQ.

The kitchen.

The bedroom. Matt put the bed up himself and its still standing.

Matt is really getting into the swing of it now! There was a great party atmosphere and everyone was just there to have a great time.

Yet more celebrations.

There were hundreds of floats for every possible minority group you could think of each trying to outdo the other with more outrageous costumes.

There was a whole host of colourful characters in the parade, some wore more clothes than others! This is what is known as a dyke...on a bike...if you like.

There were millions of people but we had a really good spot.

We couldn't possibly miss the world famous Sydney Mardi Gras. We headed down to Oxford St to watch the main parade. Matt soon got into the swing of things!

Matt seeks a solitary moment on the balcony with breakfast.

After Bondi Matt did the 5km coastal walk to Coogee beach. It has amazing dramatic cliffs, ocean views and loads of surfers.

With a day off Matt headed to the famous Bondi Beach and tried to fit in looking cool with all the surfer dudes. There were more boobs and G-string clad bums than you know what to do with.
